The invisible network

We live close. But useful local connections are still hard to see.

People, skills, goods, businesses and knowledge already exist around us. Frindeed is designed to make those possibilities more visible at the right moment.

🪜
500 m away

Someone needs a ladder for twenty minutes.

A small need may not justify a marketplace search, but the answer could already exist nearby.

🏪
1.2 km away

A local business has something useful.

Local supply becomes more valuable when nearby demand can discover it.

2 km away

A community game begins this evening.

Events become easier to discover when they are visible through place, not only through followers.

🌳
750 m away

A road obstruction has just been reported.

People who are physically nearby often have context that the wider internet does not yet have.

One neighbourhood. One day.

Thousands of small moments make a community work.

07:20

Urgent local need

A blood requirement is shared nearby and seen by people who may be able to act.

13:00

Local opportunity

A nearby business posts a time-relevant offer to people around it.

20:10

A useful connection

Someone receives thanks after helping another person solve a real-world need.

What Frindeed brings together

One local layer. Different kinds of everyday value.

🏠
🎓
🏪
🛠️
🌿

All of this already exists around us.
Frindeed helps make it visible.

The bigger idea

Local discovery can strengthen people, communities and local economies.

Explore how Frindeed is designed to create value beyond a single post or message.

Simple by design

From “what’s around me?” to a useful local connection.

Frindeed turns nearby activity into a simple flow: discover, understand, connect and act.

Open the local map

See posts and activity around your area instead of searching across unrelated places, feeds and groups.

Choose what matters

Filter by Help, Events, Sales & Offers, Emergency or Community so discovery remains relevant.

Open a nearby post

Understand the need, update, offer or event together with useful local context.

Message privately when appropriate

Move from public discovery into direct conversation without needing to display a phone number publicly.

Act in the real world

Help, attend, buy, share information, answer a question or make a useful connection.

Designed for now

Local information loses value when it gets old.

Frindeed is built around time-relevant local activity rather than an endless archive of stale neighbourhood posts.

24h

Temporary by design

Short-lived requests and community updates can leave the active experience after their useful window, helping the map stay current.

Different roles

Sometimes you ask. Sometimes you help. Sometimes you simply discover.

Frindeed becomes more useful when people can move naturally between those roles.

One app, many local moments

Features built around what is needed, happening and available nearby.

Each part of Frindeed solves a different local discovery problem while sharing the same map, messaging and trust layer.

Help

Need something? Ask nearby.

Some needs are too small, too local or too immediate for traditional platforms. Frindeed gives those moments a place to be seen.

Tools, practical assistance, local recommendations, short-term help or simply someone nearby who knows what to do.

🤝

A small need can still matter.

The right answer may already be a few streets away.

Events

Discover what is happening close to you.

Community activities, sports, volunteering, workshops and gatherings can become visible based on place — not only who you follow.

🎉

Local by default.

Useful when an event matters because it is nearby and happening soon.

Sales & offers

Help nearby supply meet nearby demand.

Local sellers and businesses can make relevant goods or offers discoverable to people around them.

🏷️

Less distance between buyer and seller.

Local discovery can reduce search friction for small transactions.

Emergency

Surface urgent local information responsibly.

Frindeed can help nearby people become aware of urgent situations, but it is not a replacement for police, ambulance, fire or other official emergency services.

Important

In a life-threatening situation, contact the appropriate official emergency service first. Frindeed is an additional local information and connection layer.

Community

Ask locally. Stay informed.

Ask is for simple nearby questions. Report is for useful local updates and issues that people around you may need to know.

Ask

“Does anyone know a reliable electrician nearby?”

📣

Report

“Tree fallen across the road near the junction.”

Messaging & trust

Public discovery. Private conversation.

Users can discover a post publicly, then move to direct messaging when they choose to continue.

🔒

People remain in control.

Discovery does not remove the need for consent, judgement and appropriate safety practices.

Different people, different value

Frindeed changes depending on who is using it.

A student, a family, a local worker and a shop owner may open the same local map for completely different reasons.

Who it is for

For students

Discover nearby events, ask place-specific questions, find used items, learn what is happening around you and connect around everyday local needs.

🎓
🏘️

Residents

🧰

Workers & professionals

Volunteers

🧳

Visitors

🏢

Community organisations

Share relevant information and participate in neighbourhood conversations.

Why this needs to exist

The internet connected the world. Finding the right person 500 metres away can still be difficult.

Useful local information and local capacity are often fragmented, invisible or discovered too late.

🧩

Local information is fragmented

WhatsApp groups, social feeds, posters, calls, marketplace listings and word of mouth all hold pieces of the same neighbourhood picture.

👀

Local needs are often invisible

Someone nearby may be able to help, sell, answer or participate — but neither side knows the other exists.

Many needs are time-sensitive

What matters this afternoon may be irrelevant tomorrow. Traditional feeds are not always built around local expiry.

🔍

Search cannot know everything local

Some questions are really “what is happening here right now?” The people already there may know first.

The core gap

The resource may already exist. The problem is discovery.

A local need
Nearby capacity exists
But it is invisible
Frindeed surfaces it
A useful connection becomes possible
Potential community value

What changes when people nearby become easier to discover?

Frindeed is designed to reduce friction between a local need and the person, information or resource that may help address it.

🤝

More practical cooperation

Small requests can become visible to people who are close enough to respond.

🧠

Local knowledge becomes useful

People can answer questions that depend on current, place-specific context.

🌐

Stronger weak ties

People do not need to become close friends for a neighbourhood network to become more useful.

📣

Useful information travels locally

Reports and questions can surface information that matters to nearby people.

🧰

Existing capacity can be reused

Time, skills, tools and knowledge already in a community can become more visible.

❤️

Contribution can be recognised

Thanks and positive interaction history can make useful participation more visible.

Social infrastructure

Frindeed does not need everyone to know everyone. It needs the right people to discover each other at the right moment.

Local economic potential

When local demand becomes visible, nearby supply gets a better chance to respond.

Frindeed can reduce discovery friction between people who need something and nearby workers, sellers or businesses that may be able to provide it.

Simple example

A small local job should not be hard to discover.

Someone needs minor electrical work. A qualified electrician nearby has available time. The opportunity already exists; the challenge is connecting both sides efficiently.

2A nearby skilled person discovers it.

🧰

Skilled workers

Nearby demand may create incremental work opportunities.

🏪

Local businesses

Relevant offers can become easier for nearby customers to discover.

♻️

Existing goods

Local resale and reuse can create value from items already in circulation.

From neighbourhoods upward

Large social and economic networks are built from small local interactions.

Frindeed’s long-term potential is not about making every interaction national. It is about helping millions of local interactions work better in their own place.

01

Person

A need, skill, piece of information or opportunity becomes visible.

02

Neighbourhood

More useful connections happen among people who are already close.

03

Town & city

Workers, residents, businesses and organisations participate in one local layer.

04

Country

Local networks can repeat at scale while each interaction remains place-specific.

🧰

Better visibility for skills

Local workers and micro-businesses may find demand that otherwise remained hidden.

📍

Better local information flow

Place-specific updates can reach people who are actually nearby.

♻️

Better use of existing resources

Goods, tools, time and knowledge already in circulation can be easier to reuse.

Impact should be measured, not assumed.

Frindeed does not claim that these outcomes are guaranteed or that it currently changes national economic indicators. As the platform grows, real impact should be measured transparently using verified platform data and credible external research.

Use what already exists

Sometimes the most useful resource is the one already nearby.

Local reuse, resale, lending and sharing can help existing goods stay useful for longer — without claiming every local interaction is automatically sustainable.

♻️

Reuse

Someone nearby may already have an item another person needs.

🏷️

Resale

Local discovery can help second-hand goods find another useful life.

🧰

Shared capacity

Tools, knowledge and other resources may be useful beyond their current owner.

A local resource economy

Discover nearby before assuming the answer must come from far away.

Frindeed can make that option easier to see.

The long view

A country’s greatest network is its people.

Millions of people hold skills, information, time, goods and opportunities. Millions of others need those things. Frindeed’s long-term idea is to make more of those local connections discoverable.

🏘️

Neighbourhood

Useful nearby activity becomes easier to see.

🏙️

Town or city

Local networks become denser as more people and businesses participate.

🗺️

Region

Local discovery patterns can repeat without losing the importance of proximity.

🇮🇳

Country

A large network can still be built from small, place-specific interactions.

What could improve

Better use of local skills. More visibility for small businesses. Faster community information. More reuse. More practical cooperation.

These are potential outcomes Frindeed aims to enable — not guaranteed claims. Real impact should be measured transparently as the network grows.

Frindeed

Bringing nearby possibilities into view.

The future does not always mean connecting farther away. Sometimes it means understanding what is already around us.

People stay in control

Useful local connection needs clear boundaries.

Frindeed is designed with privacy, reporting, blocking, account controls and responsible interaction in mind.

💬

Private messaging

Move from public discovery to direct conversation without publicly displaying a phone number.

🚫

Block controls

Users can limit interaction with people they do not want to engage with.

🚩

Reporting

Users can report content or behaviour that may violate community rules.

⏱️

Temporary content

Short-lived local posts can be kept relevant by expiring after their useful window.

🗑️

Account deletion

Users can delete their account from the app; the website provides deletion guidance and a Firebase-ready web integration point.

🔐

Phone authentication

Phone verification helps connect access to a verified mobile number.

Real-world judgement still matters

Technology can help people discover each other. It cannot remove every real-world risk.

🛡️

Safety principle

Avoid unnecessary sensitive information, use appropriate meeting settings when relevant, contact official emergency services for emergencies, and report suspicious or abusive behaviour.

Friend in Need

Frindeed started with a simple question: what if nearby people could discover when they are useful to each other?

The idea grew from help into a broader local discovery platform for needs, events, offers, urgent information and community conversation.

This Privacy Policy explains how Frindeed collects, uses, stores, discloses, protects and otherwise processes personal data when you use our Services.

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how FRINDEED CONNECT PRIVATE LIMITED ("Frindeed", "we", "our" or "us") collects, uses, stores, discloses, protects and otherwise processes personal data when you access or use the Frindeed mobile application, website, related services, features, communications and other services operated by us (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. Where consent is required under applicable law, we will seek consent in an appropriate manner. You may withdraw consent where applicable, subject to legal, contractual, security, fraud-prevention and operational requirements.

This Privacy Policy is intended to operate in accordance with applicable Indian law, including, as applicable, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules issued thereunder.

1. Scope of this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to personal data processed through Frindeed, including information provided when you create or access an account, verify a mobile number, create or maintain a profile, use location-based features, create posts or requests, participate in community discussions, upload photographs or other content, send or receive messages, reply to posts or discussions, send or receive Thanks, report or block another user, receive notifications, contact Frindeed, request deletion of an account or use our website or related services.

This Policy does not govern third-party websites, apps, services or platforms that Frindeed does not control.

2. Personal Data We Collect

The categories below describe information we may collect depending on the features you use.

2.1 Account and Profile Information

We may collect your full name, mobile phone number, email address where provided, profile photograph, user/account identifiers, account creation date, profile completion status, phone-verification status and account settings or preferences.

Frindeed currently uses phone-number and OTP-based authentication.

2.2 Location Information

Frindeed is a location-based service. With appropriate device permissions, we may process current or precise location, approximate location, latitude and longitude, location selected for a post, location name or address associated with a post, and city, state, country or nearby-area information.

Location is used to provide nearby and hyperlocal functionality, including displaying relevant posts, discussions, requests, community information and other nearby activity.

When you publish content associated with a location, other users may be able to infer or see the general place associated with that content. You should avoid publishing a private residential address or any location information you do not wish others to know.

2.3 User-Generated Content

We may process information you choose to create or upload, including post titles, post descriptions, help requests, events, sales and offers, emergency-related posts, questions, reports, replies, comments, discussion content, uploaded photographs, links, Thanks messages or feedback, content-report reasons and additional report details.

Information you intentionally publish in public or community areas may be visible to other users.

2.4 Messages and Communications

When you use Frindeed messaging or communication features, we may process chat messages, sender and recipient identifiers, message timestamps, conversation identifiers, images or other permitted attachments, delivery-related data and notification-related information.

Private messages are intended for the participants in the conversation, but they may be stored and processed by our systems as necessary to deliver the service, maintain security, investigate abuse, enforce our policies or comply with law.

2.5 Reports, Blocking and Safety Information

When you report or block another user, we may process reporting user identifiers, reported user identifiers, report categories, report descriptions, content or account associated with the report, timestamps, moderation decisions, block relationships and evidence reasonably required to investigate abuse or safety issues.

Reports may be reviewed by Frindeed for safety, fraud prevention, moderation, policy enforcement and legal compliance.

2.6 Device, Technical and Diagnostic Data

We or our service providers may process device identifiers, Firebase installation identifiers, notification/push tokens, device type, operating system, app version, language, IP address where generated in connection with service operation, network and connection information, application events, usage and interaction data, error and diagnostic information, and security and authentication information.

2.7 Analytics Information

We use analytics technologies to understand how the Services function and are used. Analytics information may include application sessions, feature interactions, approximate device and technical information, app events, performance information and engagement information.

We currently use Firebase Analytics.

2.8 Information You Provide to Support

If you contact us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, message, screenshots, technical information, complaint or support details and other information you voluntarily provide.

3. How We Collect Personal Data

We may collect information directly from you, such as when you provide your phone number, create a profile, make a post or contact support.

We may collect information automatically through your device, where permitted, such as device information, notification tokens, analytics and location information.

We may receive information from other users, such as when another user reports content, replies to your post, sends you a message or sends you Thanks.

We may also receive information from service providers where necessary for authentication, infrastructure, security, analytics or service operation.

4. Why We Process Personal Data

We process personal data to provide Frindeed, including creating and maintaining accounts, authenticating users, sending and verifying OTPs, displaying profiles, providing location-based functionality, showing relevant nearby posts, enabling posting, community discussions, chat, replies, Thanks, service notifications, blocking and reporting.

We may also process personal data to personalise and improve the Services, understand feature usage, diagnose problems, improve usability, develop and test functionality, improve location relevance, maintain safety and integrity, detect spam and fraud, investigate abuse, secure accounts, respond to support requests and communicate important service changes.

We may process or preserve information where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, lawful orders, governmental, judicial or regulatory requests, investigations, legal claims or protection of rights, property or safety.

5. Consent and Lawful Processing

Where consent is the applicable basis for processing, we seek to obtain consent that is clear and connected to the relevant purpose.

Depending on the circumstances, we may process data with your consent, to provide functionality you request, because you voluntarily provide data for a specified purpose, to comply with law, for permitted legitimate uses recognised under applicable law, or for security, investigation, legal claims or other purposes permitted by law.

Withdrawal of consent does not invalidate processing lawfully undertaken before withdrawal. Certain functionality may no longer work if you withdraw permission necessary for that feature. For example, disabling location access may limit location-based functionality.

6. Permissions Used by the App

Depending on your device and features used, Frindeed may request permission to access location, camera, photographs/media or file access, and notifications.

We request permissions only where relevant to functionality. You may manage permissions through your device settings. Disabling a permission may prevent certain features from operating correctly.

7. Public and Private Information

Frindeed contains both public/community features and private communication features.

Content you choose to publish may be visible to people nearby or other Frindeed users and may include profile name, profile photograph, post content, post image, approximate or location context, replies, discussion content, Thanks or public activity where applicable. You are responsible for information you intentionally choose to make public.

Private messages and account information are not intended to be publicly displayed. However, we may access, preserve or disclose information where necessary for service operation, safety, investigation, dispute resolution or compliance with law.

8. Location Privacy

Because Frindeed is designed around nearby activity, location is an important part of the service.

We may process location to determine nearby content, display posts on maps, filter content by distance, associate posts with selected places and enable Around Us and similar features.

We do not guarantee that a user's exact real-world identity or location cannot be inferred from information the user publishes.

Users should exercise caution before disclosing home addresses, workplace addresses, live travel information, highly sensitive locations, locations involving children or other information that may create a safety risk.

9. Emergency-Related Content

Frindeed may allow users to post or view emergency-related information.

FRINDEED IS NOT AN EMERGENCY SERVICE, POLICE SERVICE, AMBULANCE SERVICE, FIRE SERVICE, MEDICAL SERVICE OR GOVERNMENTAL EMERGENCY AUTHORITY.

Information posted by users may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate or unavailable. Where immediate danger exists, users should contact the appropriate official emergency authority rather than relying exclusively on Frindeed.

This provision does not reduce or waive any privacy right provided by applicable law.

10. Service Providers and Third-Party Processing

We use third-party infrastructure and technology providers to operate Frindeed.

These currently include Google/Firebase services such as Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Storage, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Firebase Analytics, Google Maps, Google Places API and related Google/Firebase infrastructure.

These providers may process information on our behalf or as otherwise described in their applicable terms and privacy documentation.

We may also use hosting, infrastructure, security, communications, professional or technical service providers where reasonably required to operate the Services.

11. Advertising

At the effective date of this Privacy Policy, Frindeed does not use Google AdMob or another third-party advertising SDK to serve personalised advertising inside the app.

If this changes in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and make any disclosures or obtain permissions required by applicable law and platform rules.

12. Sale of Personal Data

Frindeed does not sell personal data for monetary consideration.

We do not permit third parties to purchase users' private messages, phone numbers or precise-location history from us for independent advertising purposes.

This does not prevent us from using processors or service providers necessary to operate the Services.

13. Disclosure of Personal Data

We may disclose personal data with service providers where necessary for cloud hosting, authentication, messaging, analytics, maps, security, technical support or other operational purposes.

We may disclose information at your direction where you intentionally publish information or initiate communication with another user.

We may disclose or preserve information for safety and enforcement where reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, prevent fraud, protect users or enforce our terms or policies.

We may preserve or disclose information if we reasonably believe disclosure is required or permitted by applicable law, court order, governmental request, regulatory obligation, investigation of an offence, enforcement of legal rights or protection of users or others.

We do not promise to challenge every lawful request.

14. International Processing and Data Transfers

Our infrastructure providers may process or store data in India or other jurisdictions.

Where personal data is processed outside India, we seek to do so in accordance with applicable Indian law and contractual or security protections applicable to the relevant provider.

If applicable law imposes restrictions on transfers to particular countries or categories of data, we will seek to comply with those requirements.

15. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for providing the Services, the purpose for which it was collected, maintaining account functionality, resolving disputes, safety and abuse prevention, fraud prevention, security, enforcing agreements and complying with legal obligations.

Some content within Frindeed is designed to have a short visible life, for example certain local posts or chats. Expiry from the user interface does not necessarily mean immediate deletion from every backend, backup, security or audit system.

We may retain limited records for longer where necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, abuse investigations, security incidents, dispute resolution, legal claims, enforcement actions, accounting or regulatory requirements.

Where possible, information retained beyond active use may be deleted, anonymised or restricted.

16. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your Frindeed account.

Frindeed provides an in-app Delete Account option. You may also use our website account-deletion facility or contact frindeedconnect@gmail.com.

Our account-deletion process is designed to delete or disassociate, subject to applicable exceptions, the Firebase Authentication account, user profile, user posts, chat/messages, uploaded profile images, uploaded post images and other data directly associated with the deleted account.

Deletion may not be instantaneous across all systems. Limited information may be retained where necessary for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, enforcement, backups or other lawful purposes.

We may request reasonable verification before fulfilling an external deletion request to prevent unauthorised deletion of another person's account.

17. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law and exceptions, you may have rights to know what personal data is being processed, obtain information regarding processing, request correction of inaccurate information, request completion of incomplete information, request updating of information, request erasure, withdraw consent where consent is the basis of processing, raise a grievance, nominate another person where rights of nomination apply and make a complaint to the appropriate authority where available.

To exercise a privacy right, contact frindeedconnect@gmail.com.

We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and protect your account.

18. Grievance Redressal

If you have a privacy complaint or concern, please contact:

Grievance Officer: Shoan K. Manesh FRINDEED CONNECT PRIVATE LIMITED 13/373, Cheeramattam Building Kelakam, Thalassery Kannur - 670674 Kerala, India

Email: frindeedconnect@gmail.com Phone: +91 95443 10237

We will review grievances in accordance with applicable law.

19. Security

We use reasonable technical, administrative and organisational measures intended to protect personal data against unauthorised access, unauthorised disclosure, misuse, loss, alteration, destruction and compromise.

Measures may include authenticated access, Firebase security controls, database access rules, encrypted network transport where provided by our infrastructure, restricted administrative access, monitoring and investigation, abuse- prevention controls and access management.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Users are also responsible for maintaining control of their devices, OTPs and account access.

20. Personal Data Breaches

Where a personal-data breach occurs, we will assess the incident and take measures reasonably required under applicable law.

Where notification to users, regulators or other authorities is legally required, we will provide notification in the manner and within the timeframe required by applicable law.

21. Children's Privacy

Frindeed is intended for users aged 18 and above in its current form.

We do not knowingly design the current service for independent use by children. Where processing involves a child and applicable Indian law requires verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian, Frindeed may restrict relevant functionality, seek required consent, implement age-related controls, suspend or delete accounts where required, or take other measures required by law.

We encourage parents and guardians to contact us if they believe a child has provided personal information in violation of applicable requirements.

22. User Responsibilities Regarding Other People's Data

You must not use Frindeed to publish another person's phone number, private address, identification document, financial details, sensitive private information, private photograph or confidential information without lawful authority, consent where required or another valid legal basis.

Users remain responsible for content they choose to submit.

23. Reports and Moderation

Frindeed may review reported content, reported accounts, suspected fraud, harassment, bullying, scams, inappropriate content, harmful content, safety concerns and suspected violations of law or our policies.

Moderation may involve automated and/or human review where appropriate.

We may preserve relevant evidence where reasonably necessary to investigate abuse or comply with legal obligations.

24. Automated Processing

We may use automated systems for ordinary technical functions such as content delivery, distance filtering, fraud detection, spam detection, notification processing, analytics and security controls.

We do not currently represent that Frindeed makes legally significant decisions about users solely through automated processing.

If this materially changes, we may update this Privacy Policy.

25. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website or third-party infrastructure may use cookies or similar technologies necessary for security, authentication, preferences, analytics and website functionality.

Where legally required, appropriate cookie consent or controls will be provided.

The mobile application may use device identifiers, SDK-generated identifiers, tokens and similar technologies rather than traditional browser cookies.

26. Third-Party Links

Users may post or encounter links to third-party websites or services.

We are not responsible for the privacy, security, accuracy or practices of third-party websites or services that we do not control.

Review the privacy policies of those services before providing them with personal information.

27. Business Transfers

If Frindeed or its business is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, sale of assets, insolvency or similar transaction, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction where permitted by law.

Any recipient will remain subject to applicable legal obligations concerning the data.

28. Law-Enforcement and Government Requests

Frindeed may respond to legally valid requests from courts, law-enforcement agencies, regulators and government authorities.

Where legally permitted and appropriate, we will seek to limit disclosure to information reasonably responsive to the lawful request.

Nothing in this Policy creates an obligation to disclose information where disclosure is not legally required or otherwise permitted.

29. Data Concerning Other Users

Frindeed does not give users ownership over another user's personal data merely because that information appears within a conversation, post or interaction.

Users must not scrape, harvest, systematically collect or commercially exploit other users' personal data without lawful authority.

30. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time due to changes to Frindeed, new features, changes in technology, changes in service providers, legal or regulatory changes, and security requirements.

Where changes are material, we may provide notice through the app, website or another appropriate method.

The Last Updated date at the top identifies the most recent revision.

Continued use after an update does not override any legal requirement to obtain fresh consent where fresh consent is required.

31. Language

This Privacy Policy is currently provided in English.

Where required under applicable Indian law, we may make relevant notices or consent requests available in additional languages.

These Terms govern access to and use of the Frindeed mobile application, website, platform, features, communications and related services.

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Frindeed mobile application, website, platform, features, communications and related services (collectively, the "Services").

The Services are owned and operated by FRINDEED CONNECT PRIVATE LIMITED. In these Terms, "Frindeed", "Company", "we", "us" and "our" refer to FRINDEED CONNECT PRIVATE LIMITED. "User", "you" and "your" refer to any person accessing or using the Services.

By creating an account, accessing or using Frindeed, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Frindeed Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Services.

1. About Frindeed

Frindeed is a location-based community platform intended to help people discover and interact with information, needs, assistance, discussions, events, offers and other activity in nearby areas.

Features may include nearby help requests, community posts, Ask and Report discussions, emergency-related posts, events, sales and offers, location-based maps, user profiles, private messaging, replies, comments, Thanks, notifications, reporting, blocking and other current or future community functionality.

Frindeed primarily provides technology that enables users to discover and communicate with one another. Except where we specifically state otherwise, Frindeed does not itself provide the goods, services, assistance, transport, accommodation, employment, professional advice, emergency response or other activities offered or discussed by users.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age or older to independently create and use a Frindeed account.

By using Frindeed, you represent that you are legally capable of entering into these Terms, the information you provide is accurate, your use of Frindeed is lawful, and you are not prohibited from using the Services under applicable law.

Frindeed may introduce age-specific functionality or parental controls in the future. If it does, these Terms and the Privacy Policy may be updated accordingly.

3. Account Registration

Frindeed currently uses mobile phone number and OTP-based authentication.

You agree to provide a mobile number that you are authorised to use, provide accurate account information, maintain accurate profile information, protect access to your device, protect OTPs and authentication credentials, and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

You must not create an account for another person without authority, impersonate another person, use another person's phone number without permission, circumvent verification systems, create fraudulent or misleading accounts, or sell, transfer or commercially trade Frindeed accounts without our written consent.

You are responsible for activity conducted through your account to the extent permitted by applicable law.

4. One Account, Authentic Participation

Frindeed is intended to promote genuine local interaction. We may take reasonable steps to identify or restrict fake accounts, coordinated manipulation, impersonation, spam networks, automated account creation, repeated abusive accounts, fraudulent identities and accounts created to evade a previous restriction.

We may require additional verification where reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention or regulatory compliance.

5. Location-Based Services

Frindeed uses location information to provide nearby and map-based functionality. Depending on the feature and your permissions, Frindeed may use current location, selected location, latitude and longitude, place information, approximate distance and the location associated with a post.

Location information shown through Frindeed may not always be exact. GPS, device settings, internet connectivity, user input, map providers and other technical factors can cause errors. You should independently verify a location where doing so is important for safety.

6. User Content

“User Content” means information submitted, uploaded, transmitted or published by users, including names, profile photographs, posts, titles, descriptions, photographs, discussions, reports, questions, replies, comments, messages, Thanks, listings, links, locations and other submitted material.

You retain ownership of content that you own. However, by submitting User Content to Frindeed, you grant Frindeed a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, display, format, technically adapt and otherwise use that content to the extent reasonably necessary to operate Frindeed, display the content to intended users, provide messaging, provide maps and location functionality, deliver notifications, maintain backups, moderate content, detect abuse, enforce these Terms, improve and secure the Services and comply with law.

This licence ends when the content is deleted from our active systems, except to the extent continued retention is reasonably necessary for backups, security, investigations, legal compliance, disputes or other lawful purposes.

Frindeed does not acquire ownership of your User Content merely because you post it.

7. Your Responsibility for User Content

You are responsible for content you submit. By submitting content, you represent that you have the necessary rights, permissions or lawful authority to submit it.

You must not publish another person's private phone number, home address, financial information, government identification, private photograph, health information, confidential material or other sensitive or private information without lawful authority or appropriate consent.

You should carefully consider what you make publicly visible.

8. Prohibited Content and Conduct

You must not use Frindeed to create, upload, transmit, promote or facilitate content or behaviour that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms.

Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation: illegal activity; credible threats or incitement of violence; harassment, stalking or bullying; unlawful hateful or discriminatory content; sexual exploitation or non-consensual intimate imagery; child exploitation or grooming; fraud, phishing, fake emergencies or deceptive schemes; spam; privacy violations; intellectual-property infringement; distribution of malware or malicious code; scraping or unauthorised reverse engineering; bypassing security measures; manipulation of rankings, visibility or interactions; and knowingly false information intended to deceive or cause harm.

Frindeed may restrict or remove content and accounts associated with prohibited conduct and may preserve or disclose information where required or permitted by law.

9. Emergency Posts

Frindeed may allow users to post information marked as emergency-related.

FRINDEED IS NOT AN EMERGENCY SERVICE. Frindeed is not the police, fire and rescue, ambulance, hospital, medical provider, disaster-management authority or a government emergency system.

Do not rely exclusively on Frindeed during an emergency. If a person, animal or property is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate official emergency authority.

Frindeed does not guarantee that an emergency post will be seen, that another user will respond, any response time, the availability or competence of responders, the accuracy of emergency posts or any successful rescue or assistance.

Users participating in emergency-related activity do so subject to their own judgment and applicable law.

10. Help Requests

A Help post is a user-generated request. Frindeed does not guarantee that anyone will respond, that assistance will be available, that a user is qualified, that information provided by a user is accurate, the safety of an interaction, the quality of assistance or any particular outcome.

Users must exercise reasonable judgment before meeting or relying on another user.

11. Meeting Other Users

Frindeed may facilitate communication between people who do not previously know each other. Frindeed does not conduct a comprehensive background check on every user.

You are responsible for deciding whether to communicate, meet, exchange goods, provide assistance, enter another person's property, travel to a location or participate in an activity.

For personal safety, consider meeting in appropriate public places, informing another person of your plans, avoiding unnecessary disclosure of private information, independently confirming identities where appropriate, avoiding unsafe locations, refusing suspicious requests and reporting concerning behaviour.

Nothing in Frindeed should be interpreted as a guarantee that another user is trustworthy.

12. Sales, Buy/Sell and Offers

Frindeed may allow users to post sales, offers or other commercial information. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Frindeed is not the seller, buyer, manufacturer or owner of goods offered by users.

Frindeed does not guarantee title or ownership, authenticity, legality, quality, merchantability, condition, safety, pricing, delivery, payment, warranty, fitness for purpose or the accuracy of a listing.

Users are responsible for independently evaluating transactions. Frindeed may restrict listings involving prohibited, illegal, unsafe or regulated goods.

If Frindeed later introduces integrated payments, business subscriptions, paid listings or marketplace transactions, additional commercial terms may apply.

13. Payments and Future Paid Features

The current consumer version of Frindeed may be offered without an upfront download fee.

Frindeed may introduce optional paid functionality in the future, including business-related features, subscriptions, promotions or other premium services. Before charging a user, applicable pricing and payment terms will be disclosed.

Where purchases are made through Google Play, Apple or another payment provider, that provider's applicable payment terms may also apply.

Introducing paid functionality does not automatically require existing free users to purchase it unless clearly communicated.

14. Professional Advice Disclaimer

Content on Frindeed is primarily user-generated community information. Unless explicitly provided by an appropriately identified professional service under separate terms, Frindeed content should not be treated as professional medical, legal, financial, engineering, psychological, emergency or other regulated professional advice.

Users should consult an appropriately qualified professional when necessary.

15. Community Discussions

Ask, Report and other community-discussion functionality allows users to exchange local information. Frindeed does not automatically endorse a statement merely because it appears in the app.

Community information may be incomplete, outdated, disputed, inaccurate or subjective. Users should independently verify important information.

16. Messaging

Private messaging is provided for communication between users.

You must not use messages for harassment, threats, spam, fraud, unlawful solicitation, sexual exploitation, malicious links or impersonation.

Messages may be processed and retained as described in the Privacy Policy. Where permitted by law and reasonably necessary, Frindeed may preserve or review relevant information associated with a safety complaint, abuse investigation, legal obligation or security incident.

17. Thanks and Reputation Features

Frindeed may provide Thanks, badges, counts, streaks or similar community-recognition features.

Such metrics are informational and community-oriented. They are not certifications, background checks, professional qualifications, guarantees of trustworthiness or endorsements by Frindeed.

A high Thanks count does not mean Frindeed guarantees a person.

18. Reporting Content and Users

Users may report content or accounts for reasons including spam, harassment, bullying, scams, fraud, inappropriate content, harmful content, safety concerns or other violations.

Submitting a report does not guarantee a particular decision. Frindeed may investigate, request information, restrict content, remove content, warn users, restrict features, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, preserve evidence or refer matters to appropriate authorities where reasonably appropriate.

False or malicious reporting may itself violate these Terms.

19. Blocking

Frindeed may permit users to block other users. Blocking is a platform-level feature and may not prevent every possible interaction outside Frindeed or through information that remains publicly accessible.

Users remain responsible for taking additional personal safety measures where appropriate.

20. Moderation

Frindeed may moderate content using user reports, automated systems, manual review, safety signals, technical detection and other reasonable moderation methods.

We may remove, restrict, reduce visibility of or disable access to content where we reasonably believe it violates these Terms, violates law, creates security risks, infringes rights, facilitates fraud, creates significant safety risks or interferes with the Services.

Where required by applicable law, we may act in response to legally valid notices, governmental directions or court orders.

21. No General Obligation to Pre-Screen Every Post

Where permitted by applicable law, Frindeed does not undertake to manually inspect every user post or message before publication.

The presence of content on Frindeed does not mean that Frindeed created it, verified it, agrees with it, recommends it or guarantees its truth.

We nevertheless reserve the right to moderate content and will act where required by applicable law.

22. Intellectual Property

The Frindeed Services, excluding User Content, may include proprietary software, source code, interfaces, designs, logos, trademarks, graphics, branding, databases, documentation, text and technology.

These are owned by or licensed to FRINDEED CONNECT PRIVATE LIMITED and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Unless expressly authorised, you may not copy, sell, license, reproduce, distribute, modify or commercially exploit Frindeed intellectual property.

The Frindeed name, logo and associated branding may not be used in a way that falsely suggests endorsement, partnership or affiliation.

23. Intellectual Property Complaints

If you believe content on Frindeed infringes intellectual property that you own or are authorised to represent, contact frindeedconnect@gmail.com.

Provide enough information for us to reasonably identify the protected work, the allegedly infringing content, its location in Frindeed, your authority and your contact details. We may request additional evidence.

24. Privacy

Use of Frindeed is also governed by the Frindeed Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains, among other things, data collected, location processing, Firebase services, messaging data, user-generated content, retention, account deletion, security and privacy rights.

These Terms and the Privacy Policy should be read together.

25. Account Deletion

Users may delete their accounts using the Delete Account functionality provided inside Frindeed. An external deletion mechanism is also provided through our website.

Account deletion is subject to the retention provisions described in our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Deleting an account does not necessarily require us to delete information that we are legally entitled or required to preserve, including certain fraud records, safety reports, legal records, security logs, evidence associated with disputes and backup information.

26. Suspension and Termination

We may restrict, suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of a material violation of these Terms, unlawful conduct, fraud, threats, serious safety concerns, repeated abuse, intellectual-property infringement, attempts to compromise Frindeed, legal or regulatory requirements or evasion of previous enforcement.

Where appropriate, enforcement may apply to an account, device, phone number, content or particular features.

We may take immediate action where necessary to protect users, Frindeed, third parties or the integrity of the Services.

Nothing in this section limits any procedural or substantive rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

27. Availability of the Services

We aim to provide reliable Services, but Frindeed is provided subject to technical and operational limitations.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, permanent retention of every feature, availability in every geographic area, compatibility with every device, uninterrupted maps or location services, or uninterrupted Firebase or third-party infrastructure.

We may temporarily suspend Services for maintenance, security, updates, infrastructure issues, legal reasons or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

28. Changes to Features

Frindeed may add features, remove features, redesign functionality, modify distance limits, modify post durations, change technical systems, change supported locations or introduce paid features.

Where a change materially affects legal rights or privacy practices, we will provide notice or obtain consent where required by applicable law.

29. Third-Party Services

Frindeed uses or may interact with third-party services, including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Storage, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Firebase Analytics, Google Maps, Google Places and Google Play services.

Third-party services may be governed by their own terms and policies.

We are not responsible for an independent third-party service to the extent an issue results exclusively from that third party and is outside our reasonable control, subject always to any liability imposed on us by applicable law.

30. Third-Party Links

Users may publish links to external websites. Frindeed does not control every external website.

A link appearing on Frindeed does not necessarily mean we endorse it, verify it, guarantee it or control it.

Use third-party websites at your own discretion.

31. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis.

Frindeed does not warrant that every user is genuine, every post is true, every offer is legitimate, every location is accurate, every user will behave lawfully, every message will be delivered, every help request will receive assistance, every emergency post will receive a response, all content will always remain available or the Services will always be error-free.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or statutory protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

32. User-to-User Interactions

Except where Frindeed expressly assumes responsibility in writing, interactions between users are between those users.

Frindeed is not automatically a party to agreements between users, purchases between users, assistance arrangements, meetings, exchanges, promises, voluntary services or privately negotiated transactions.

Users are responsible for evaluating their own interactions.

33. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FRINDEED CONNECT PRIVATE LIMITED, its directors, officers, employees and authorised representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary or consequential losses arising solely from unauthorised user conduct, reliance on inaccurate User Content, unsuccessful user-to-user arrangements, failure of another user to respond, third-party goods or services, third-party websites or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for conduct that cannot legally be excluded or removes statutory consumer or data-protection rights.

34. User Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless FRINDEED CONNECT PRIVATE LIMITED and its directors, officers and authorised representatives from third-party claims, losses, liabilities or reasonable expenses arising directly from content you unlawfully submit, your infringement of another person's rights, your unlawful conduct, your fraud or your material breach of these Terms.

This indemnity does not apply to the extent a loss was caused by Frindeed's own unlawful conduct or where applicable law prohibits such indemnification.

35. No Waiver of Statutory Rights

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive rights under applicable consumer law, privacy and data-protection rights, rights arising from fraud, rights that cannot legally be waived or the jurisdiction of a legally competent statutory authority.

If a provision conflicts with mandatory law, mandatory law prevails to the extent of the conflict.

36. Complaints and Grievance Redressal

For complaints concerning Frindeed, content or account-related issues, contact:

Grievance Officer: Shoan K. Manesh FRINDEED CONNECT PRIVATE LIMITED 13/373, Cheeramattam Building Kelakam, Thalassery Kannur - 670674 Kerala, India Email: frindeedconnect@gmail.com Phone: +91 95443 10237

We may request information necessary to identify the account, locate relevant content, verify a complaint and prevent fraudulent requests.

37. Lawful Requests

Frindeed may disclose, preserve, restrict or remove information where reasonably required or permitted pursuant to applicable law, court order, lawful governmental direction, law-enforcement request, regulatory process, protection of legal rights or investigation of unlawful activity.

We do not guarantee that we will notify a user of a request where notification is prohibited or inappropriate.

38. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Subject to any mandatory statutory forum, consumer jurisdiction or other jurisdiction that cannot legally be excluded, courts having competent jurisdiction in Kannur, Kerala, India shall have jurisdiction concerning disputes arising from these Terms or the Services.

Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent interim relief from an appropriate court.

39. Informal Resolution

Before commencing ordinary civil proceedings where appropriate, you are encouraged to contact us at frindeedconnect@gmail.com and provide reasonable details of the dispute.

We may attempt to resolve the matter informally.

This section does not prevent a person from approaching a consumer forum, regulator, court, law-enforcement authority or other body where they are legally entitled to do so.

40. Force Majeure

To the extent permitted by law, Frindeed is not responsible for delay or failure resulting from circumstances reasonably beyond its control, including natural disasters, floods, fires, war, civil disturbance, internet outages, telecommunications failures, government action, major infrastructure failures, third-party cloud outages, cybersecurity incidents not caused by our failure to comply with applicable obligations and other comparable events.

41. Severability

If a court or competent authority determines that a provision of these Terms is unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remainder of these Terms will continue to apply where legally possible.

42. No Waiver

Failure by Frindeed to enforce a provision immediately does not necessarily waive our right to enforce that provision later.

Any waiver must be legally valid and apply only to the circumstances for which it was given.

43. Assignment

You may not transfer contractual rights or obligations under these Terms to another person without our prior consent where consent is legally permissible.

Frindeed may transfer these Terms as part of a lawful merger, restructuring, acquisition, corporate reorganisation or sale of relevant business assets, subject to applicable law.

44. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any feature-specific terms expressly incorporated into them, constitute the agreement governing your use of Frindeed.

Additional terms may apply to future business, subscription, payment or commercial features.

45. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect new features, legal requirements, security requirements, business changes, platform changes or operational changes.

The latest version will identify its effective date.

Where a change materially affects your rights and applicable law requires notice or consent, we will provide appropriate notice and obtain consent where required.

46. Electronic Communications

By using Frindeed, you agree that communications relating to your account or the Services may be provided electronically, including through the app, push notifications, email, website notices or other reasonable electronic means.

This does not constitute consent to marketing where separate consent is legally required.

47. Survival

Provisions that by their nature should continue after account termination may survive, including provisions concerning intellectual property, retained information, disputes, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law and legal compliance.
